Built by an operator. Run like one.
Techabo exists because too many companies pay for advice and still have to figure out execution on their own. We do both.
Marcus Penny
Founder & Digital Operator
I started Techabo because I kept seeing the same pattern: companies hire consultants for strategy, agencies for implementation, and staff aug for capacity. Then they spend all their time coordinating between them. I wanted to build something different. One team that owns the whole picture, from architecture to code to ongoing operations. I write software. I design systems. I run operations. That is what a Digital Operator does.
What we believe
Ownership beats advice
Recommendations are easy. Running the system after the slide deck is done is hard. We do the hard part.
AI is a tool, not the product
We use AI to move faster and cover more ground. You are hiring operators who happen to use AI, not AI dressed up as a service.
Outcomes over deliverables
We measure success by whether your systems work and your margins improve. Not by hours logged or decks delivered.
Small teams, full ownership
We keep teams small so everyone owns the outcome. No handoffs between strategy and execution.
Senior authority, built in
Digital Operators do not act alone. Senior Consultants define the guardrails, set the standards, and handle escalations when complexity exceeds playbook scope. They are involved and accountable, but they are not bottlenecks. This structure ensures delivery operates with senior oversight without slowing execution.
Background
Before Techabo, I spent years building and running digital systems for commerce and operations teams. PIM implementations, marketplace integrations, data pipelines, workflow automation. I have written production code, designed operating models, and managed the people who run them. Techabo is the productization of that experience: a way to bring the same approach to more companies without the overhead of a traditional consultancy.
